Description

Roll-to-Roll Automatic screen printing line for RFID, contactless smart card & smart labels.

AUREL AUTOMATION has signed some contracts for the supply of new printing line for flexible substrates reel to reel.

roll to roll for smart card rfidThe application is RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification), a new technology to realize smart lables, TAG, RF tickets for bus metro, smart cards contactless for telephone or automatic access, identification of people, products and goods.

The substrate normally is paper or plastic and must be printed using the technology of thick film, with polimeric pastes, conductors and dielectrics.

This is a high volume production and the handling must be reel to reel or with foil in stack of large dimension.

The FRAUNHÖFER Institute, one of the largest research center for the new technologies will receive his first line in the beginning of 2001 year.
